I was pretty fed up with the thought of what am i going to munch after office. It's always the "Muri" or "beguni, alur chop or sometimes sandwich.. blah ..blah...blah..same old stuff...
And then Eureka...yes got what i wanted..something ...old wine in a new bottle...Its our oti porichito "Chire" but no folks i am not talking about chirer polau but fried chire... good to eat & fast to cook...
Ingredients:
Chire(Rice flakes) - 1cup
Onions- 1 finely chopped
Potatoes- 1diced
Oil for frying
Black Pepper- 1tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat refined oil in a pan. Fry chire(rice flakes),& diced potatoes. Mix rice flakes & fried potatoes & add finely chopped onions. Sprinkle salt & black pepper.
Serve hot with tea only!!!
Lovely..after frying it will have crunchy-munchy texture or what we call the muchmuche...
